Cool Getting by till GW2 comes out.

Getting buy till GW2 comes out.

Been trying out trials to see what other games are like

Tried the City of Heroes Trial 14 day fun for a short while (so dead on the servers or at least on the couple of servers I was on) can’t see myself paying monthly to play more. Initial 20-40 bucks yes but no more (not to mention DC Universe will be coming out and it sounds like no monthly fee)

Exsteel (off NC Soft Website) Got to play it after the original download then quit for the day and tried later to load and it will not load not sure why but did not pay for anything so who cares. (older but ok)

Tried Lord of the Rings Online trial (buggie as heck) not too fun when you can’t even get out of the first area without crash – deleted

Tried World of Warcraft Trial 10 day fun to play, but man… grinding of levels with no focus gets old. I am totally lost on mission path if there is one. Mainly go to area take quests finish move to the next one I find. The spawning I get a kick out of clearing an area and turning around and what I just killed is back. Cartoon graphics but its ok. Did my first PVP something last night and was I lost Killed a level 16 with a 10 not sure if that means anything.

Yep spoiled with GW graphics Gamplay and mission paths

Any others I am missing to try?

I am tempted to try Dungeons and Dragons on line - little set back as before it was pay to play and now they say its free? What’s that all about? Has anyone tried this? Any opinions?

So I ask you any other ones I should try out ?

Don’t get me wrong I love GW I just now and than have to step away to appreciate all the more again.

P.S I am not sure if this should go in questions since it really is not about GW or GW2 . So If you need to move go for it.

I just started Battle of the Immortals by Perfect World. I do the same thing, I try other games and then come back to GW all the more appreciative.

If Runes of Magic is an option, then it's not bad. Otherwise, just play console games until this summer. There are 2-3 spectacular games coming out for the PC.

Unfortunately, GW2 probably wont hold a candle to most of those games.

Does it have to be online/MMO? There are heaps of other awesome games like Baldur's Gate (notably the second) that you could play.

I would like it to be a MMO since you can group with people and interact.
